How the neighbourhood names were sourced

The names in the search box come from OpenStreetMap, taken around the Chandivali locality point at 19.1091482, 72.8945793. Matching names less than 800 metres apart were consolidated, retaining both sources. Three missing suburb names use government-listed representative addresses: Vile Parle East, Jogeshwari East and Santacruz East. A name in the search box is a name we recognise, not a place we have promised to visit.

What a name cannot tell you

A point does not describe a neighbourhood boundary, and two nearby points need not share a ward.
